Description:

Tapered saw nuts. Remarks that the method is especially suited to use on combination saw/squares such as Disston's 42 and 43 combo saws. Also apparently observed on early Disston 12 saws. A similar nut was observed on a brass back saw marked "Dilworth Branson & Co, Philada".
