Description:
The purpose of this machine is to impart the taper grind to handsaws so that they are about 1/100" thinner at the back than at the cutting edge. Baker proposes accomplishing this by feeding the handsaw blank through two oscillating grinding wheels which are set at a slight angle relative to each other.
