The machine replaces the bed-plate—which had to be sized according to the files being cut—and instead used a revolving drum that can hold a file of any size. "The machine shown is adapted to cut three-sided files of any size."The inventor was superintendent of the Arcade File Works and this machine was likely used by them. They did not manufacture machinery for the use of other file makers. |
