Description:
Brace wrench with jaw opening adjusted by sliding loop. The jaw would also adjust tight enough to grip a drill bit tang. The specifications mention an alternate thumb screw on the sliding loop to hold the adjustment -- a known example of the tool does not have this feature.

According to Ken Cope's "American Wrench Makers 1830-1930," Hoyt & Beers of New Fairfield, CT made the wrench.
