Description: |
The mold has the outsides of the ax, a place for insertion of a "plug" which forms the eye of the ax, and spaces for "overflow" which can be trimmed during final finish. The ax form shown in the drawing is the "Kelly Ax," (see e.g. design patent D19,056) but the principle of the mold would apply to hatchets and similar tools as well. |
