Description: |
Chisel for hollow chisel mortising machines. The innovation was to use a bit similar to a metal-cutting bit, which would cut the waste into small pieces ("dust") as opposed to the larger chips created by the usual auger-type bit. This change supposedly reduced or eliminated clogging of the chisel. |
