Abstract:

The bootleg is drawn upon the outside of the tube, the leather on opposite sides inserted within the jaws of the pincers which are then closed upon the leather, and drawn down by the foot pressing upon the foot piece, and thus the bootleg is inverted.

Claim:

he double jawed pincers above described, and the process by which they are thrown up through the tube, and nothing more.
