Description: |
An example has been seen with a brass drill chuck that appears to be original. The drive gear says "DOVER - PAT MAR 8 81 - JULY 14 85 U. S. A." The dates correspond to this patent and 322,250. According to a description of a somewhat different design of egg beater in the collection of the Henry Ford Museum, "The Dover Stamping Company produced one of the first well-designed rotary beaters. It was so successful other companies named their similar looking models 'Dover.'" |
