Description: |
Abstract:
The method of burning glutinous waste mass in an incinerator wherein the glutinous mass is maintained out of contact with a preheated combustion chamber wall to raise the temperature of the mass and cause partial incineration of the mass and thereby prevent the creation of thermal gradients in the combustion chamber wall. The partially incinerated mass deposited on the wall is then burned to convert the waste to ash. The glutinous waste mass is fed into the furnace at a rate commensurate with the burning rate. |
