Description:

This invention is shown in a 1901 ad from Union Mfg. Co., for their "Union Tool Grinder". The assignee, William H. Crosby, was the owner of the Crosby Co., makers of metal stampings for bicycles and automobiles. According to the 1902 Buffalo City Directory, he was also the president of the "Union Mfg. and Specialty Co." The 1900 Buffalo City Directory lists our inventor as an employee of Union Mfg. Co.
