Description:

A saw matching this saw has the following etched on the blade. "Klein / Magic Slot in Blade / 12 in. / Cat. 705 / Pat. 2849039". In the handle is cast "Sexauer / Make / TIGHT / Stay / U.S.A. & Can." The ornamental design of the handle does not match the patent drawing but the blade mounting mechanism does seem to match.

The J. A. Sexauer company was established in the Bronx in 1921 and relocated to White Plains in 1962. John A. Sexauer died in 1970, age 89.
