Description: |
Further development on Wuest's 607107 two sided back saw sold by Geo H. Bishop & Co. Combination of rip and cross cut teeth with an adjustable back that also allows depth regulation. The teeth on the front of the saw are called rack teeth for adjusting the location of the back but production models did not use a screw with the rack teeth. Produced by Geo. H. Bishop & Co. as the No 10 patent adjustable saw.
Patent 1085503 of 1914 owned by Disston & Sons closely follows the overall design concept and the lack of rack teeth appear to be the distinguishing and patentable feature.
