Description: |
Bit is designed to use an ordinary wood-screw as the screw lead. It is kept from spinning relative to the bit by a screw driver tip, which also enables the bit to be used as a screwdriver with the boring cutters removed. Bits with wood-screw leads seem to have been a specialty of Phillips. |
