Description: |
This design has no spur, rather the cutting lip slopes down (i.e. toward the wood) fairly dramatically from the lead screw, and forms a fairly acute angle with the cutting wings (opposite orientation of typical spurs). The aim is to provide a more durable bit which is easy to sharpen. |
