Description: |
Follow-up to his previous patent (503224) for a Forstner type bit. The changes made are intended to improve the means of securing the cutter in the head of the bit as well as allow for an auxiliary cutter to be mounted on the periphery of the circular rim. Aspects of this patent were included in subsequent patents (504261 & 533855).
Also issued Canadian patent No. 42,740 on April 22, 1893. |
