Description:
Improvement to the design in 683,104, including adding side shields to the frame, and "prongs" to the "front shield."

Later further modified (see patent 1,253,944).

Cryptic directory listings, brief 1908 text ads for "Daggett" weaners, and listing for "Daggett and Son" (Omaha) in Nebraska Dept. of Labor annual reports ca. 1914-1915 are circumstantial evidence a Daggett design was produced. In the absence of illustrated ads, etc. further research is appropriate.
