Description: |
Gear and rack tightening hook-jaw pipe wrench. The size of the opening is adjustable by loosening the yoke that holds the movable jaw in engagement with the gear teeth on the main shank, and re-positioning the hook jaw. Stop pins on either side of the yoke limit the range of motion.
The gear teeth feature appears in modified form in Wilson's March 3, 1896 patent no. 555,797. |
