Description:

Quick adjust -- interrupted threads on the adjusting screw have corresponding interrupted threads in the interior of the movable jaw. A secondary adjusting nut and shaft in the bolster provide additional adjustment to compensate for slack in the primary adjustment.

The corresponding Canadian patent is CA-45,291 issued Feb. 9, 1894.
