| Description: | | Adjusting worm for movable jaw mounted in frame attached to toggle locking lever structure. The adjusting worm sets the movable jaw to size, and the toggle-locking mechanism tightens and sets the grip.
From the specifications: "SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION -- In the lever locking worm adjustable wrench of the present invention, the movable jaw is slidably mounted in a guide track formed in the body or handle of the wrench, thereby maintaining a parallel relationship with the fixed jaw. The worm gear is mounted on a mounting arm and is pivoted by action of the operating lever in a direction which is substantially tangential to the rack gear on the movable jaw. The result is a convenient to use, compact, and positively gripping adjustable wrench."
