Description: |
"My invention relates to that class of animal-marking devices in which a patent has been granted to myself and H. W . Hill on the 11th of June, 1878." Embossed metal tag, with a perforation at one end and a "crescent shaped notch" on the other, to facilitate attaching to livestock with "rings." Coordinates with a modified "Hill Hog Ringer" (Pat no. 204,736), which has provision for selectively obliterating embossed characters on the tags.
Housum was a partner in H.W. Hill & Co. |
