The size adjustment means shown in the drawing was not used in GRIPSO locking plier wrenches -- a form of "trigger" lock release appears in late 1950s ads for the GRIPSO "TRIGGER-MATIC" and appears in a 1959 ad for the NASCO KYNE-SNAP (a "bull lead" with modified jaws on a GRIPSO locking plier frame). |
