Vintage Machinery entry for Irvington Machine Works
Description:
Invention is a tablesaw where the blade is mounted like an inverted swing saw: the work is held stationary on the table and the blade is pivoted through the workpiece. Springs are used to limit the travel in either direction and provide a restoring force to the swinging motion.
