Description: |
British patent corresponding to U.S. patent 445,451 Jan. 27, 1891 and Canadian patent CA-35,643 granted Dec. 20, 1890. The U.S. and Canadian patent dates appear in advertising for Miller's Vehicle Wrench. Production at St. Louis appears in the 1890s under a couple of names; St. Louis Wrench Co. succeeded Miller as maker.
W. H. Munns was a British patent agent.
Note: Early British patents (pre 1916) were numbered by the year and started at patent #1 at the start of each year in January. The patent # used in DATAMP represents the year of registration and the patent # (with leading zeros to make the number total nine digits). This patent is #4,362 of the year 1891. |
