Description: |
Abstract:
The object of the present invention is to improve certain features of the machine referred to, having particularly in mind the mountings of the filing elements and the carrier for the same, whereby the machine is rendered more efficient and its durability and life increased.
Claim:
In a machine of the class described, the combination with a driving wheel and a driven wheel, of a flexible carrier supported by said wheels and including a plurality of file supports, a filing element connected to said file supports in a plane parallel to the plane of said flexible carrier, link connections pivotally mounted in said supports, whereby to permit the carrier to flex in its passage about the wheels, but to maintain said supports in alignment in the stretches between the wheels, a work support, and means oppositely disposed with respect to said filing elements for bracing said carrier to maintain the file supports in rigid relation to the work on said support as the file supports pass the same. |
