This invention was the subject of an illustrated article in the December 1872 Manufacturer & Builder, page 272. "All orders or inquiries should be addressed to J. Greenwood, with Putnam Machine Co., Fitchburg, Mass." So far as we know, Putnam did not manufacture this invention.
