Abstract:
This invention relates to tools for removing carbon from internal combustion engines t0 and aims to provide a tool which is especially adapted for scraping the packing ring grooves of the engine pistons.
Claim:
A piston groove cleaner comprising an annulus adapted to surround the piston, a handle therefor, a cutter pivotally secured to the annulus and having one end extending within the inner diameter thereof for entrance within the ring groove of the piston and an adjustable stop engageable with the opposite end of the cutter for limiting its pivotal movement in one direction. |
