Description: |
"My invention relates to the means of securing the blades of corn-knives to their handles. Heretofore the blade has either been riveted to a ferrule on the end of the handle or has been riveted in a slot cut in the end of the handle. My invention provides a simple fastening that is both cheaper and more secure." Compare Woods' successor patent 628,594.
Woods had several patents matching products listed by the Woods Specialty Co., Granville, NY ca. 1898 - 1902. In later years, he appears in corporations associated with his patents in several places including Toronto, Cleveland, etc. |
