Description: |
"A wrench assembly for retaining a pair of propane tanks in spaced relationship, while providing a convenient storage structure for a wrench required for maintenance of the propane tanks. The assembly includes a threaded rod positioned between the propane tanks, and a bracket securely retains the tanks in position when a wrench having a threaded opening is screwed onto the threaded rod. The assembly overcomes the problems associated with the misuse of tools when the appropriate wrench is unavailable."
Comment from a DATAMP user who suggested this entry --["Sav O Nut" aluminum alloy propane tank wrench (7/8" across the flats) -- The patent drawing and the description of some features claimed in the patent document do not fully align with the actual article.] -- The "assembly" is a frame for paired propane tanks of the sort used for camping vehicles, etc. The "SAV-A-Nut" trademark application by Stewart Tobias of Palmetto, FL. was published in 1994. Changes in standards for propane tank valves have made this design obsolete. |
