Description:
An article in the November 1918 Machinery, page 260, describes very large gun boring lathes being built by David A. Wright of Chicago, and concludes, "Patents have been applied for on certain features of this lathe construction." This patent is one of the best matches we have found, but it is far from conclusive that this patent was associated with Mr. Wright.
