Description: |
Abstract:
My invention relates to an improved form of bearing and adjusting means for the end of a connecting-rod, being especially designed for the cross-head end of a connecting-rod to be used in connection with the cross-head described and claimed in my application Serial The object of my invention is to so construct the bearing and the support therefor in the rod that the device may be produced at minimum cost and the bearings, although adjustable, may be made of a single piece.
Claim:
A connecting-rod having a transverse opening and a slot extending therefrom, a split annulus fitted in said opening and having a tongue extending therefrom into said slot, and means for shifting said tongue in said slot. |
