Abstract:
Iu operation, when a jet of water from a hydrant or other source is directed and strikes the center at the bottom, its tendency is to spread and impinge against the inclined sides of the bucket, thereby producing a reacting force, which is an important advantage in giving a waterwheel the greatest percentage of power, or of using the water to the best possible advantage.
Claim:
The conical pyramidal buckets B B, arranged on the periphery of the wheel A, for the purposes herein set forth. |
