Description: |
Claim:
This invention relates to a turning tool particularly designed for refinishing the leather-covered top rolls largely used in yarn drawing and similar operations.
This refinishing involves truing up the new leather covering on each side of each section of the roll, and also facing off the leather on the cylindrical surface of each section. These operations have been heretofore commonly performed by using the ordinary types of side and facing lathe tools, involving the insertion, resetting and removal of three different tools in finishing each section of each roll. |
