Claim:

n a V-block the combination comprising a block haying a V-shaped upper recess formed therein and defines by two inclined surfaces which extend the full length of said block, a V-shaped insert of shorter length than said V-block and adapted to rest within said V-shaped recess of said block, said insert having a V-shaped upper recess, and means to clamp a workpiece in the V-recess of said insert while said work piece is being machined by a drill or other tool.
