| Claim: 
In a four-cycle gas-engine, two cylinders each provided with an inlet-valve and two exhaust-ports, one of which is located at the limit of the outward stroke of the piston and the other which is located between the latter and the inlet-port, a valve in said last-n amed exhaust-port, and means for controlling said last-named exhaust-port including the piston, a movable member common to the said valves of both cylinders, and fluid-pressure connections actuating said valves and partially actuating said movable member. |
