Claim:

The combination of a cylinder, a main piston, a supplementary piston, a spring tending to force the supplementary piston to the inner end of the cylinder, an inlet at the outer end of the cylinder, an exhaust-valve at the inner end of the cylinder, means for operat-iug it, a passage connecting the space between the pistons and the inner end of the cylinder, and a nonreturn valve in the passage.
