In a gas-engine, a cylinder, a valve-box, a gas and air induction port therein, and a vertically-operating automatic valve in said port, an eduction-port valve in said port, a positively operated valve intermediate the two valves and the cylinder, and a chamber common to said valves, substantially as shown.
