Description: |
The disclosed invention is a portable planer cutter fabricated from a series of plates with cutting edges plus "cooperating bosses and apertures" that angularly index each plate to produce a cutterhead with a roughly helical cutting edge. This patent covers the cutterhead itself, and patent 3,613,485 covers the method of manufacture, which is claimed to be substantially less than that of conventional cutterheads or of previous laminated cutterheads. |
