This tool was intended to be driven by a flexible shaft—though it was also suited for integral electric motor drive—and was "for use by die makers and engravers". The innovation is a mechanism for converting rotary to reciprocating movement "so that they tool may be used for filing, chipping, routing, cutting and the like." This invention was manufactured by the assignee as the "H & H All-in-One electric tool". They first introduced such a tool by 1939 and was produced until at least 1947. |
