| The 1938 Delta catalog features these "Patented Rubber-Cushion Sanding Drums", which are claimed to expand in diameter evenly across their length as opposed to other drum which inflate more at the middle than near the ends. These drums and their sandpaper sleeves were catalog Nos. 830-842 and 847, with different models having various diameters and lengths. The sleeves were available in garnet and aluminum oxide, and in coarse, medium or fine grits. |
