Vintage Machinery entry for American-Lincoln Corp.

 |
|
| Description: | | The inventor was chief engineer for the assignee, and the assignee was a subsidiary of American-Lincoln Corp., and the patent number was seen on a circular saw manufactured by American Power Tool Co., another subsidiary of American-Lincoln Corp. Both of those subsidiaries were created by American-Lincoln after they lost a contract to make power tools for Sears, Roebuck & Co. and they decided to introduce a line of handheld power tools under their own name. That effort was abandoned in about 1962. | |
