Jeff Joslin Vintage Machinery entry for E. W. Bliss Co.
|
Description: |
This improvement is particularly applicable to presses used for extruding where the start of the extrusion portion of the press stroke causes a serious shock force, which limits the speed at which the press can be run. This improvement provides a variable stroke that slows down the initial part of the extruding process and then speeds up. |
