Description: |
This tool wins the complexity award for butt gages. It
features five (!) sliding arms, including two that feature
3-point mortise markers. It is capable of performing all
hinge and lock layout for a door, including strike plates
and squaring the sides of the mortises.
The three-point markers use the same technique used in the
famous 1870 Kenny patent (98,504), where a rod is cut
with both left- and right-hand threads
