Abstract:
My invention relates to machines for straightening and bending metal bars and io shafting, and is designed as an improvement upon the machine for which Letters Patent were granted to me bearing date the 9th day of June, 1885, and numbered 319,603.
Claim:
In combination with a bed or supporting frame, a press movable on said frame, transverse frames resting upon said bed, beams pivoted in said transverse frames and provided with rollers to sustain a shaft, rack-bars attached to the beams, and a shaft extending lengthwise of the main frame and provided with pinions to mesh with the rack-bars. |
