Description: |
Combination tool based on an adjustable open end wrench; a hammer poll protects the extended rack portion of the adjustable jaw, and the adjustable jaw may include a nail claw. The handle portion may include a file and screwdriver.
Subsequently improved by British patent GB-579,210.
Ron Geesin's "THE ADJUSTABLE SPANNER" connects this patent to the British UTILEX combination tool; examples found in the U.S. are marked to reflect the later patent and a British "Registered Design" and the example shown in Geesin's book matches the arrangement shown in the later patent as well. |
