| The adjustable jaw's position is set by an internal wedge that has teeth which engage matching teeth on the main shank. The shank also forms a blacksmith's brace, with a bit socket at the end. The fixed head has a hammer poll and nail claw, the brace pad is removable, and the specifications claim the jaws would also grip pipe. |
