Description: |
Interchangeable jaw combination tool with a pair of handles, and several jaw pieces with multiple pins and corresponding apertures in the parts to connect them. Although not noted in the specifications, this is an improvement to the tool in patent no. 1,079,997. The jaw pieces can be set at a greater variety of angles to the handles, and with a firmer connection between the jaw pieces and handles using this arrangement compared to the earlier style.
Known example marked "H.G. WERNIMONT PLI-NIPPER U.S. PAT 11-4-24." The American Pli-Nipper Co. was formed in 1921. |
