The specifications also note the sliding connection at the rear of the jaws may conform to one or more of several patents including 1,330,542, 1,614,300, 1,444,729 and 1,553,623.

This patent and 1,330,542 were found to have been infringed in K-D Mfg. Co. v. Waterloo Valve Spring Compressor Co. [13 F.Supp. 811 (1936)].
