Description: |
Abstract from ESPACENET: "Bolts for a belt fastener have spikes G on their heads, which are forced into the belt and prevent the bolts from rotating while being tightened up. The nuts D are extended at H to increase the depth of the screwed portion, and the holes J, by which the nuts are turned, are elongated in a radial direction so that a single key or spanner may fit nuts of different sizes."
See also Jackson's related patent GB-190326698.
Corresponding spanner wrenches are marked, "JACKSON'S PATENT // .. FOR BUTTON FASTENERS." |
