| In 1887 Milne had been making sawmills on his own, but the cover sheet for this patent shows that correspondence was going through Waterous Engine Works of Brantford. Since Milne had moved to Brantford by that time, it seems safe to assume that Milne was working for Waterous. Furthermore, U.S. patent 455,635 appears to be equivalent to this one, and it was explicitly assigned to Waterous. |
