Description: |
Pipe and nut wrench with swinging hook jaw having pipe gripping teeth "inner" and flat faces for nuts "outer." A sliding jaw adjusts by a rack and pawl. The movement of the swinging jaw is limited by the difference between its angled inner end and the angle of cut-away area on the main shank in which it is mounted.
Known examples marked "SANDERS WRENCH MORRISTOWN, TENN." with the patent date shown as June 4, 1904 and the sliding jaw adjustment provided by a screw. |
